Medium Baffle for Optical Systems

Overview

This medium baffle model consists of 3 sections, one fixed at the base and 2 sliding elements. The passive deployment mechanism utilises a Constant Torque Spring (CTS) which is wound on two drums located at the base.


This motorisation system employs a system of three independent wires that run through each baffle sliding element and they guarantee a straight, uniform and correct alignment during deployment.​
